I'd love to tell you that I've had a magical fitness journey.That it's been one smooth ride of continuous self-development and discipline.If I said that, I'd be lying.Truth is - while fitness is the most powerful lever we have to improve our lives, and my fitness journey has been profoundly rewarding - it's also been one hell of a bumpy ride.I spent the first few years defining fitness success as maintaining a shredded look that was impossible for me to keep while being happy.This led to all sorts of problems around my eating patterns and self perception.But it's been a good thing. I've learned a lot along the way about what real, sustainable success with fitness looks like.I've navigated the traps of endless comparison, unsustainable programs, and cycles of restrictive diets and binges.My experience has informed my approach to coaching:

My (brief) Story
I've been a fitness dabbler for most of my life.First got into it in high school. I got tired of being a chubby teenager who was invisible to females.Got into lifting a bit and lost some chubbiness, but I didn't have a system that could last.I had a couple more fitness attempts in my early twenties, but never developed a system to consistently stick with it.This changed when I became a coder in my later twenties. I had more time and bandwidth for hobbies, and health and fitness quickly became a passion.I picked up certifications from the ISSA as a Nutrition Coach, Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and Transformation Specialist.I started helping out some friends, but this has turned from a hobby to my number one passion.If you want to get to know me better, check out my newsletter
